Delayed entry clearance and ILR

Post by A khan2 » Mon Mar 18, 2019 2:06 pm

Hi, I entered UK 2 months and 18 days delayed on a spouse visa and now my extension to spouse visa is about to expire yet I have lived here for 4 years and 9 months so far. Period of absence from UK is very less- about 40 days since I entered in the UK. Now I want to know if I can apply for settlement straight away or will need another extension for spouse visa.
As I applied my first visa outside UK, I was given 33 months visa initially valid from 11/11/13 to 11/08/16 and date of entry clearance is 21 June 2014.

Many thanks

Your post doesn't make sense.
As I applied my first visa outside UK, I was given 33 months visa initially valid from 11/11/13 to 11/08/16 and date of entry clearance is 21 June 2014.
How can you date of entry clearance (which the initial visa) be 7 months after your visa issue date?? Do you mean you ENTERED the UK on 21st June 2014??
I entered UK 2 months and 18 days delayed on a spouse visa
If you entered the UK in June 2014, then it wouldn't be 2 months and 18 days.
and now my extension to spouse visa is about to expire yet I have lived here for 4 years and 9 months so far.
What date did you apply and get approval for your last extension?
Period of absence from UK is very less- about 40 days since I entered in the UK.
There is NO absence limit for a spouse visa holder.
Now I want to know if I can apply for settlement straight away or will need another extension for spouse visa.

You will likely need to apply for an extension.
