Tier 2 ILR Eligibility date check

Post by psrka » Thu Jun 20, 2019 1:41 pm

Hi All,

Can someone please confirm that my dates for application and appointment are correct. Really confused after I made an appointment and we are worried.

Visa Issue date : 06-Aug-2014
Visa expiry date: 18-Aug-2019

Applied for ILR Route : Tier 2 General 5 years route
Date application sent : 17-June-2019 (Online form and payment done)
Date Biometrics Enrolled : 11-July-2019(Appointment secured)
Payment Debited : 17-June -2019

I have taken priority appointment on 11-July (Decision date) with Sopra Steria which is within 28 days of 5th Anniversary of my visa. Is this calculation right? Senior Members appreciate if you could shed some light.

Regards,
Priya

Post split to your own topic. Please do not post questions in the TIMELINE ONLY threads.

Date of application is the date you submit and pay online and not the date of your appointment.

The date you start counting 5 years minus 28 days is the date of initial visa issue date. So you should not have applied any sooner than within 28 days before 6th August 2019.
