PBS Dependant to ILR

Post by john_sgh » Tue Jan 07, 2020 12:26 pm

Dear Team,

I submitted my ILR application and attended UKCVAS appointment. I am in PBS dependant visa and my spouse is UK citizen. I have my passport with me however I assume I should not travel till decision is made.

After UKCVAS appointment, what is the next step? Tentatively how long it takes to receive any update from Home office please?

Thanks.

Correct you should not travel as your application will be considered withdrawn if you do.

How long it takes depends if you applied standard service (8 weeks) or super priority, your post doesn't say which you used.

Is there any contact details to check the status if its crossed more than 8 weeks please?

It hasn't passed 8 weeks yet as your biometric appointment appears to only have been on 21st December.

Bear in mind the recent bank holidays and festive period, which would also likely cause a slight delay.
