PBS dependent partner applying for ILR with more than 180 days absence due to Pregnancy

Post by sanjprab » Thu Jan 30, 2020 6:57 pm

Hi All,

I have read the gov.uk documents regarding this but ended by getting confused by the information.
I would like some advice from the experts here.
Am a British citizen
My wife is holding PBS dependent partner visa for more than 5 yrs(may 2014 - currently) now.
She took her maternity leave and was away from country for more than 180 days(from oct 2017 - july 2018)
She was employed the whole time and was getting paid by her company for few months and her statuary maternity pay through out the maternity leave.

Is she still eligible for ILR? Is absence counted for PBS dependent partners?
Any documents I need to submit to show that the absence was due to pregnancy

Thanks to all the kind ppl.

There is NO a sense limit for pbs dependents whose visas were issued BEFORE 11th January 2018.
