Pls Help-Does Business Visa period count in 10 year LR route?

Post by SHAR99 » Sat Feb 27, 2021 5:59 pm

Hi ,
Request please help me with my 10 LR route - whether Business Visa period can be included in 10 years Long residence route?

I came to UK on a Business visitor visa on my employer's acquisition project on 8th March 2011 and before the Visa expired went to India in June 2011 and returned with another Business visa valid till Dec 2011. I returned to India on 15th Aug 2011. Later I returned to UK on Tier 2 ICT work permit and extended till Jan 2016. I then moved to student visa and then finally to Tier-2 General visa now. I shall now complete 10 years in March 2021 if the Business visa period is counted. Will I be ok to apply for ILR now and include Business visa period from March 2011? I have not been absent from UK more than 6 months at any one time.

Thanks,

Useful to state the visa start and end dates for all your visas and the absence dates exactly, if you expect any useful advice.
