New public funds question on IDLR application

Post by kats31 » Sun Mar 07, 2021 1:47 pm

Hi,

I'm in the process of submitting my application for IDLR after 5 years in the UK on a tier 2 general visa. There is a new question about public funds that states:

Do you or anyone else who is part of this application receive any public funds?

I am Australian and am married to a British citizen. We have a young child who is British. My husband receives a monthly child benefit payment for our child. My question is do I need to include the child benefit payment my husband receives in my application for IDLR?

Technically my husband and child are not part of the application as it is only for me, and doesn't involve any joint bank accounts etc in my supporting documents
