Long residence application after losing the brp card

Hi all, I have been studying, working and living in The UK for 12 years (legally) and Iam planning to apply for my indefinite leave on my own but I don't have my brp card as I was told that it was lost or stolen while it was with my solicitors. Can I still apply for my indefinite leave online without going to solicitors and without having to submit brp card. I have a photo of the front of BRP card( not that clear though as it was taken when it was still in an envelope) which was sent to me by the solicitors before they lost it. Looking forward to getting any help. Thank you all very much.

When exactly was it 'lost'?
