Driving offence and ILR

Post by blackangel338 » Sun Apr 25, 2021 3:45 pm

Urgent advice please!

on the ILR application under convictions it asks whether I have any penalties for a driving offence, for example disqualification for speeding or no motor insurance. It then says "You must tell us about fixed penalty notices (e.g. a speeding or parking ticket) if you've received three or more. If you received a fixed penalty notice but didn't pay the fine and there was a criminal proceeding resulting in a conviction, tell us here."

I currently have 3 points for accidently going through a red light.

Do i need to declare this and will it affect my application?

thank you!

FPN alone is not a criminal conviction if you are not convicted by the court. Also, this will not affect your ILR application anyways. Declare the FPN but no issues.

If it went to court and you were fined by the court (even if you did not attend in person), it is a criminal conviction. However, this will NOT affect your ILR application. Declare it though.

Only criminal convictions which are recordable offences i.e. you can be sent to prison for that affect ILR (convictions in the last 2 years from the date of ILR application).

time out of the uk

Post by blackangel338 » Mon Jul 12, 2021 11:16 am

PLEASE HELP!!
i'm currently filling out my ILR application via the 10 year route.

the application doesn't let me add more than 30 entries for trips out of the uk. As I've been here for over 10 years I've had more than 30 trips out of the UK. These are all within the limit allowed as they are all weekend trips.

How can I add the remaining trips if the "add another" button disappears after the 30th entry?

thank you!

1. Topics merged. Keep all questions on one topic please

2. All stamped pages for 10 years plus biometric page.
