Clarification on Documents needed for Set (O) ILR application - Dependent

Hello,

I am applying for my ILR and filling in the Set (O) application form as a dependant to my wife who applied for naturalisation last year and British citizenship this year successfully. My journey to ILR started on May 2015 with an extension on my Tier 2 Dependent visa on July 2019 till July 2022.

While submitting the application, the document list states that I need to submit:

• The passport issued by India for Mr royboy
  • Consent form for the Home Office to request verification checks on <my wife> for joint accounts or third party support
  • Evidence of Mr royboy's immigration status in the UK
  • Declaration signed by <my wife> to confirm consent for the Home Office to request verification checks
    Current Biometric Residence Permit for Mr royboy
  • All previous passports, travel documents or national identity cards that you have used to travel to or remain in the UK
    
    Am i doing this right????
    
    No documents concerning my employment letter, absences from UK, proof of funds either from me or my wife. Do I need a letter from my employer regarding proof of absence? I am in middle of jobs. Please advise.

The PBS dependants do NOT have any employment requirement for ILR. You simply need two years of cohabitation evidence

• My last leave was granted in July 2019. Does that mean my leave of absences must start from July 2019 or 11 Jan 2018?

• Do i need to show and prove leave of absences from my employer as well? They have just asked for my previous passports. I was hoping to submit an excel spreadsheet with all my passports till date. [/list}

Absence from date of visa grant in 2019 only.

No, you do NOT need an employer letter. Your employment is irrelevant to your ILR as a pbs dependent. You need to upload your passport copies, bio page and stamped pages.
