ILR - Tier 2/ Skilled Worker - Does the most recent payslip need to cover a whole month?

Post by ryansn » Fri Jul 29, 2022 12:12 pm

Hi everyone,

This is my first post on immigrationboards.com. I have been reading every thread on this, but I couldn't find any specific to my issue below.

I received a new Skilled Worker visa for one year two weeks ago from a new sponsor. I had another TIER 2 Visa for the past five years with another sponsor, but I couldn't apply for my ILR as my last sponsor didn't renew their sponsorship license before my visa expired.

Now I have my first payslip from my new sponsor. It covers only one week of work. Can I use that and finally submit my ILR application? Or do I need to wait for the next payslip covering the whole month?

On the government website, it only says "Most recent payslip," so I am not sure if I should wait or not.

You should wait till you have a full months payslip and corresponding bank statement before applying for ILR.
