Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) Dependent

Post by mamoru01 » Tue Dec 10, 2024 4:41 pm

Hi
My wife has been in UK since 07/2019 on Tier2/Skilled visa.
My daughter and I been in UK since 09/2019 on Dependent visa.
We are now all eligible to apply for ILR. Our existing Skilled Worker Visa expires in May 2025.
My wife plans to apply for ILR in Jan/Feb 2025 but I was hoping to wait until later in the year due to cost of the application. I don't think it's mandatory for all 3 of us to apply for ILR at the same time.

Is it possible for my daughter and I to instead apply for extension on our dependent visa?
Best regards,

It is nott mandatory to apply for ILR at 5 years.

An extension will cost you as it is a 3 year extension and you pay the visa fees and IHS fees for both you and your daughter for 3 years.
