Set(o) or Set(M)

Post by yuvraj_singh » Sun Mar 02, 2025 6:14 pm

Hi,

Need forum's advice on an important aspect.

I was on Skilled worked visa since 2019 and got my ILR recently in June 2024.
My wife is on my dependant visa (skilled worker) which expires on 14th March 2025. Her BRP states - "Dependant Partner leave to remain". She has compelted 5 years on my dependant visa and now we are apply for her ILR

For her ILR application - we are confused between set(m) or set(o) appilcation.

Which form should we fill? Please note that after getting my ILR I have not applied for any dependant visa for my wife.

Set O is the only form she can use.

Thanks CR001,

My wife's dependant visa is expiring 14th March 2025 and she is eligible to apply for ILR only from 21st March 2025 (28 days before 20th April 2025)

We have submitted the application already on 6th March and have taken the appointment for 28th March for a super priority

Do you see any issue with that or is the gap - around 8days manageable as I have submitted the application before her visa expires on 14th March and taken the appointment after 21st March when she is eligible
