I explained this hundreds of times before. The date of your application is the date you submit it online however you must be eligible on the day of your ILR decision. This means as long as you are eligible on the day of the decision, you should be fine

Many thanks for your reply Zimba. As per your advice, I submitted my application (via super priority service) last night and booked an appointment for the bio-metrics on 23rd January (considering 22/01/2020 will be the 5th anniversary minus 28 days of my Tier-2 visa issue date). Could you please confirm, if all this make sense, because bio-metrics will be done after the date i will be eligible i.e. 22/01/2020 and decision will me made after 23/01/2020 which means i will be eligible for ILR on that day.

After i booked the appointment, i was asked to upload my documents in following categories which is a bit confusing for me,

Mandatory documents:

Proof of ID: Passport Issued and Deceleration signed by me to confirm the consent for the Home Office to request verification checks

Other documents:

Other:  No idea which document to upload in this category
Residence in the UK : No idea which document  to upload in this category.
Finances: May i need to submit my last Payslip ?
Proof of Business: It is not applicable on me as a Tier-2 migrant.
Life Events: I have no idea which document to upload in this category.
Medical Information: I have no idea which document to upload in this category.
Sponsors/Employment: I will upload the employment letter issued by my employer.
Proof of identity/Travel History: No travel outside the U.K. in last five years. May i need to upload a proof of Identity ?
Educational: May i need to upload B1 English language test certificate in this category which i passed recently.

Please guide me which documents needs uploading against which category. Will I still be fine, if i upload these documents in a couple of days (before my bio-metrics appointment on 23/02/2020).

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,
Moeed

Hi Zimba, CR001 and Gurus,

I had a super priority appointment for ILR today, which is successful ( received an email from Home Office today).

Now i want to apply for a Tier-2 dependent visa application for my Mrs. and Naturalisation application for my son ( born in the U.K.) Tier-2 dependent visas for both of them is expiring on 14 Feb 2020. Could you please send me web links for Tier-2 dependent visa extension and Naturalisation application.

Thanks in advance.

Please ask your tier 2 dependent visa questions in the tier 2 sub forum.

Please ask your citizenship questions in the British citizenship sub forum.

Neither question is relevant to the ilr sub forum or your ilr topic.
