I recently got ILR based on 5 year Tier1 General Visa.
My wife did not complete 2 years hence was not eligible for it, but since her visa was expiring , I applied for PBS Dependent Extension.

She successfully got a visa called PBS Dependent Leave to Remain for 3 years.
Is this the same as Settlement ?
Can we get Naturalisation after one years based on this visa?
OR Does she need to convert her visa to Settlement ?

Why not flr(m) under the old rules then to set(m) after completion? She does not have ilr just a visa extension.

If she had been given flr(m) then after 2 years she she could have got ilr under set(m) and immediately applied for citizen as spouse of bc providing 1. You were a bc and 2 she met the other requirements. Did you get advice before doing this?

She is on the right path. Just apply for SET(O) when she qualifies.
