My wife's visa is due to run out, 22nd August.
She took her test again for "Life in the UK" and she's has failed.
We got married, and she is currently on a FLR (M)
She's from America.
What options do we have?
Submit the application and hope for an appeal?
And book a test for in 7 days.
Really hoping for some help I have no idea on this.

Apply for another
FLR(M) prior to expiry of leave.

That's what I was thinking, is this possible.
We apply for FLR (M) and this gives us 2 more years right?

Also if she re-apply's for FLR (M)
Can she carry on working and will she need to re-take her residence permit.

She may continue to work if she makes a
valid in-time application. However, it may be difficult for
employers to verify.
Probably needs
biometrics again, etc.

Thanks so much for your help Vinny.
Do they send you for a biometrics appointment after the application?
Do you think this is the best bet?
Will send it off today, next day delivery.

Apply for flr(m) by post today or ASAP before 22nd. Then get reading the life in the UK book, then as soon as she's passed the test, really shouldn't be long as should be straight forward for an English speaking American, vary the flr(m) application to set(m).
