i want to start a new topic about data link of HMRC to PEOs.

i have seen some refusals because PEOs have access to HMRC data base till Jan 2015

Could you please share your experiences and advice, or could we write letters to PEOs to update there system about there HMRC database or we should make request under freedom of information act to know what sort of database PEOs have of HMRC and how do they update it etc.

i have noted two type of refusal.

1. with amendments
normally they are refusing it as applicant try to cheat system or try to pay less tax etc

2. late filling of self assessments
in these cases they are simply saying our system is not matching with your last claimed income for extensions .

I don't think that they have absolute approach to
HMRC data, in my case case worker could not find
2013 HMRC record, luckily I had all SA 302 copies
and got ILR, otherwise case worker was holding my
case for further checks from HMRC.

There seems no need for the named members to repost their tales here - they have posted extensively elsewhere in forum.

I leave the crosslinking of their topics as an exercise for the reader.

Thats correct, upto 2015 Jan only. HMRC dont give live feeds to anyone. Even when we submit our tax returns it takes 2-3 working days to get reflected on our SA account.

As discuss above, please find the refusal below of my friend, who were recently refused at PEO Croydon.

it confirms that Home Office have HMRC Database till Jan 2015, so if any one who done amend his tax return or late submission of SA, could have problem, as Home Office will not able to get live data.
