Hi

Apologies for seperate post, this seems to be have lost, hopefully someone has applied for dependents after main applicant ILR granted.

Looking at the SETO form for the 2 off dependent prespective

1- 1 SETO form for both dependents.
2- Section 1 - Applicants details will be filled by spouse
3- Section 2 - this will be filled after 2.8 only for the kid details
4- Section 3 - Work permit holder dependant X this will checked for TIER 1 General dependent
5- Section 4 4.1 , 4.3 ,
6 Section 5 Other - Rented by Husband , query here is since spouse is not working so there is no finance or payslips in this section should this be leave blank.
7- Section 10

No point assesment required as this has been done at husband ILR so all those section will be blank ??

what else should be provided in supporting documents.

1- Husband ILR
2- Husband Company Letter
3- LIUK
4- Englih req cert
5- Marriage Cert
6- Kid Birth Cert
7- Passport / new / old
8 BRP

In Section 12

The query is

If you have a spouse or civil partner listed in section 2 of this application form who is applying
at the same time as you, please provide documentary evidence of cohabitation since you
were last granted leave (up to a maximum of two years). Evidence provided should cover the
whole period and be in the form of official letters or documents, addressed to yourself and
your spouse.

What evidence are they after ?

Many Thanks

If some successful applicant can post the documentation or form how they completed SETO for dependents that would be highly appreciated.

Thanks Team

ILR was granted on Tier 1 General - 5Y route.

2 off dependents are currently on T1G dependents.

Someone suggested to use SET M. Not sure why

For SET O form who be the main applicant me or the spouse ?

Its confusing becuase she is house wife and not working so how can I show the points salary etc..

Can someone who had applied seperately be able to guide how to fill SETO for 2 off T1G dependents.
which sections ?

Someone suggested to use SET M. Not sure why Don't believe everything you 'hear'. She cannot use Set(M) as she does not hold a visa that qualifies to use this form.

For SET O form who be the main applicant me or the spouse ? Your spouse is the main applicant not you as you already have ILR

Its confusing becuase she is house wife and not working so how can I show the points salary etc.. Not applicable

Can someone who had applied seperately be able to guide how to fill SETO for 2 off T1G dependents. Search the forum, many examples of this and successes. Read the guidance notes.
which sections ?

which sections ?
when you fill-up SET (O) on page 13, Section 3 - Which category?
you will see there is option for Tier 1 dependent (under B), those who are under A only need to fill-up the point scoring assessment section.

She doesn't need points. Read the response by ABC99 again.

Does your wife have B1 English test too? This is a mandatory requirement in addition to LIUK.

T1G 5Y to ILR Dependent Query (Main App got ILR)

Hi All,

Please can one help on below

Main applicant got ILR via T1G-5Y route.

Now 2 off T1G dependents are applying using 1 off SETO form for ILR
My partner is housewife so not working at all. I will be using my bank statements to pay fee or to show maintenance.
I have currently filled the form in the following sequence as some of the questions are not applicable.
Please advise.

Section 1 – wife detail as T1G dependent for ILR
Section 2 –Dependent only 2.8 -2.14 is filled only 1 child.
Section 3 - T1 Dependent category
Section 4 – Life in UK passed, Masters degree NARIC comparability statement + the university statement that all courses taught in English.
Section 5 – Home and Finances – stated here that rent and all expenses by my husband (me)
Section 6 – Immigration history – filled with tickets copies as proof
Section 7 – No offenses
Section 8 – Photos Done
Section 9 – I don’t think I need to fill this in as it is not applicable as both are dependent. However I will include a personal stamen why this section is not completed Since husband is the main applicant who already got ILR.
Section 10 BRP Yes INCLUDED FOR BOTH DEPENDENT
Do I need to send my original ILR card as well or just photocopy only ? I don’t see the point sending the originals.
Section 11 Passports - All passports for both dependents + previous inc.
Section 12 Documents –
1. NHS letters on the name of wife
2. Gas / Elect bills on the name of wife
3. Driving license of wife
4. Bank statements of myself showing maintenance
5. ILR photo copy
6. Kid NHS letter
7. Both dependent Home office letters on this address

What else I need to provide in support for the document. I think I have filled it right but if some members can review and advise that would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

ILR for spouse query

Hi All,

Background : I have been granted ILR in Dec 2016.
My wife and 4 yr old kid are applying via T1G route dependent (arrived 2012 as T1G dependent).
She got LIUK passed and english language UK masters comparable NARIC letter + University letter.
She is house wife and not working at all. I am on full time employment.

Queries are.

1- I am using SETO for my wife as main applicant (section 1) and dependent 1 child (section 2). (As T1G Dependent category section 3)
2- Do I need to provide financial details for my self again or just include my ILR photcopy in personal statement.
Section 9 of SETO - Do I need to fill this in with my details ? or leave it blank.

Can anyone advise asap on this as its confusing pls.

If you go through the form again, you will see on section-3 which category .....

Your dependent must be choosing Section- B (tier 1 dependent) , and section B start with "If applying under section B, please note that you are not required to complete section 9."
