BRP RC (Replacement BRP card) Processing Times

For those of you with a BRP (Biometric Residency Permit) card that is expiring in the next year be sure to get your application in early. I was told up to 6 months and during this time they hold your passport (and card) so you cannot book any travel abroad.

I'll update this thread with processing times for others to follow.

I applied for my kids' replacement cards in early May this year and received and acknowledgement email on 24th May 2017. I also received the letter asking for biometric information and I've already taken them for scans (about a month ago). The letter stated that I had 15 days to complete this.

So let's see how long this goes on for....
