Folks- I am applying for my partner ILR based on 5 year route in Jan 2018, I am british citizen working as self employed contractor (Limited Company) can someone pls help with what documents I need to present for my application?

Hi- My wife wants to apply for ILR based on the 5 year route as my dependant. She Gave her IELTS (General Training in UK in 2013) and got overall 7 Bands
Listening- 6.5
Reading -7.0
Writing- 5.5
Speaking- 8.0
Her IELTS test certificate says its approved by British council/IDP Australia & University of Cambridge (ESOL Examination)

My question - Can we use the same Test Certificate for her ILR visa? or she has to take the test again?

Also what is the B1 equivalent interms of IELTS Band?

Section 8B is not relevant to you unless you are claiming exemption from the financial requirement or have had your spouse since before July 2012, as the form clearly states.

My understanding is, you are proving to the case worker, you both have lived in the UK together as a married couple during your duration of the Visa.

You will have to show documents related to living in the UK for both of you.

Folks- Need some clarification if there any requirement getting a employment letter? does it have to be recent? if so how recent? and what details are required on it?

- Perm/Temp
- How long employed?

If you are salaried and on PAYE then 6 months.

So even though 6 month bank statement/pay slip wont fully cover the annual salary of £24k.

its ok right?

The requirement is to provide 6 months bank statements and payslips (same as for spouse visa), to prove you meet the equivalent of £24k pa.
