Can someone please confirm whether I already meet the 60 months for ILR?

Timeline is as follows:

-I entered UK on marriage visa in Aug 2013 to get married in the UK.
-I was issued first FLR (M) in Jan 2014.
Extension made 2.5 years later in June 2016. This current FLR visa expires in Jan 2019.

I was told by the Home Office that the earliest I could apply for ILR is 28 days from Jan 2019..is this correct? Or is it 5 years from my marriage visa entry on Aug 2013?

Thanks Vinny. I noticed that some people were able to put their tier 2 towards the 60 months. Is it specifically the marriage visa that doesn’t count towards the 60 months then?

Thank you Vinny, that was what I was looking for! Just to clarify my dates on my BRP, I was issued the first one on Jan 15, 2014 for 30 months and my 2nd BRP runs out on Jan 14, 2019. Does that mean I can apply as early as Dec 17, 2018?

Probably safer from 18 December 2018 and before 14 Jan 2019.

Hi Vinny,
Is it 28 days from when my second FLR (M) expires on January 14? According to this date it brings it back to December 17. Sorry for talking specifics but just in case I am able to get an appointment December 17 (not 18th ) i’d like to be sure that I am within the timeframe. Many thanks for all your advice

No sooner than 28 days prior to the completion of your 5th anniversary of your initial grant of FLR(M) and before expiry of leave.

Will I be counting back 28 days including the expiry date of Jan 14..this determines whether it is dec 17 or 18.

The initial FLR(M) grant date is the start of the 5 year qualifying period. It's completed after the 5th anniversary. Then subtract 28 days prior to that.

As you have until before expiry of leave, 14 Jan 2019, why take the risk that the UKVI may disagree with the boundary dates? Pick some safer date, perhaps around the middle, from 18 December 2018 and before 14 Jan 2019?

Thanks Vinny , you are right. I will be safe than sorry. It’s the last week before Xmas and I think I just wanted to maximize that week but I’ll wait until the 18. By chance do you know whether HO will be closed for the 2 weeks starting the week of Christmas? Or only Dec 25, 26 and Jan 1?

Hi everyone,
I was hoping someone could give me advice regarding address changes. I have moved 2 times in the last 2 1/2 years since my last Visa application (so 3 different addresses). As you know for the visa application process, proof of cohabiting with your partner is necessary (6 each of you don’t have joint names on statements) My question is, do I need to provide proof of 6 each per person for EACH of the 3 addresses? Or will I be ok to provide 6 each per person spreading across the 2 1/2 years (irrespective if address changed three times ?) Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
