CONFUSED - Paper Application Withdrawn SET(M)

Hi all,

I hope someone can help because I am really confused.

I have been filling out the paper SET(M) form on behalf of my wife and we have a PSC appointment booked for this coming Monday (12/11) in Solihull, however, I've just seen that as of 01/11 the paper application form has been withdrawn and you must now apply online.

I booked our PSC appointment on 30/10. What should I do? Do I now need to fill in the online application? Is that even possible when you already have an appointment booked?

Many thanks in advance for any advice or help that anyone can give.

Thank you so much for your reply. I now know that the paper form will be accepted.

The issue I have now is that we made some mistakes filling out the paper form and were going to reprint the pages that we had made the mistakes on, but now I can not reprint those pages. Does anyone know of any way around this?

HI all,

So thanks to the lovely people of these forums, I now know that I can still take the paper form to my wife's PSC appointment on Monday. We've pretty much got everything in order, but there was a few things I wanted to check and this seems like the best place to ask for advice.

1. Does anyone happen to know if a Disclosure Scotland certificate (proof of no criminal convictions) would be acceptable as proof of address correspondence?

2. Along the same lines - are letters from pension companies (Legal & General, Nest etc.) acceptable forms of correspondence?

3. I'm still confused as to whether or not I need to include my daughter's details in Section 3 of the form. My daughter was born in London and is a British citizen with a passport, so I know she's not classed as a dependant, but do I still need to fill in her details in Section 3?

Thanks again in advance for any help/advice anyone can give.

Thank you so much!

One more question, does someone applying as a partner of someone settled in the UK (so not a parent) have to fill out the Maintenance section?

SET(M) Maintenance?

Sorry, guys, if my wife and I meet the financial requirements do we still need to fill out the maintenance section of the SET(M) form?

The wording of this form is so confusing and even the guidance notes aren't much better. It's as if they've done it deliberately.

Thanks in advance for any help/advice.
