A large sudden increase shortly before applying for ILR will be an instant red flag to HO. A £5,500 increase is unusual and exceptional and could trigger an investigation into your job and sponsor.
What is your SOC??

But if they asking only for one month statement and one month payslips, it wouldn’t show to them its sudden increase?

Such a large increase (and any increase you received before outside of annual company wide increases), have to be reported on the SMS.
HO also check your HMRC income and tax records, so they will know you got a very large increase shortly before applying for ILR. They have been hot on this particular issue for a couple of years now and some companies have lost their sponsor licenses and ILR applicants been refused where 'deception' and 'non genuine' vacancy is found.
You are brave if you believe you can try to hide things from HO and they won't find out. They know a lot more about you than you probably think.

Even if you wait 6 months, the fact that you will need a £5,500-£6000 increase will still be a red flag to HO. Presumably not every employee is getting such a large increase. Likely only you as you need it for ILR.

If u r confident with ur own earnings just 1Day before date of application that u earned 1Million&Prove with Legal Evidences, you will win either HO refuses/Accepts as it is lawful w.r.t Immigration rules.ThatSimple.

What CR001 is saying is simple, if you apply with such sudden increase it will raise a suspicion immediately and further checks that might not be necessary for simple application will be carried out. Have in mind that HO have access to all your history in UK, you can’t possibly hide anything.

First thing first,it is your ur life in lawful means that ur paying taxes with no probs with clear, clean&Good history of ur Records from HMRC for all the period ur claiming for ILR[Remember ILR is NOT end of Journey,u still hav in future UK-Citizenship whr Good-Character matters than salary things],Feedbacks/ Proof from HMRC&Other legal bodies will be shared to HO during ur process of application.Thy r stronger than sniffing dogs to retrieve the entire history, what the advise is hav all the HMRC letters stored for all ur ur tax history for all the yrs u stayed & get this Tax history genuine&clear from HMRC or FCA regulated Accountant if u have history of tax amendments/salary going sudden Peaks&Drops. This accelerates the decision with strong covering letter.
You also need to have good rapo with with HMRC as thy play vital role w.r.t God/Bad character.
If u can wait & ur visa is NOT expiring even if u further wait for 2/4 months ,then better wait as per senior members suggested.
If if there is Hike ur employer gives u Hike letter, that wil act ur additional Supporting Doc[BankStat+PaySlips ( is temporary)on long run
HO wil giv decision basing on HMRC records(NOTE:-Not completely relaying on Payslips)
Your preparation for ur application destines if u wanted to hav decision from HO faster or get it delayed with long tussel&finally landup in AR/JR&then win.Your own homework matters than what HO rules are.
NOTE1:- DO not be in rush as long as ur visa is NOT expiring.[Whn is ur visa expiring?]
NOTE2.1:- Remember the 1st time ur current visa Application made w.r.t those rules decide with a competent solictor tht how Much Min salary u need w.r.t HO Immigration rules.Once u decided,u follow the below[No guess works]
NOTE2.2:-(If you will need a £5,500-£6000 )Hav a revised Offer letter due-to Inflasion+Cost of living in London+Skills upgrade points from ur Employer&Decide to have a revised Offer than Hike Letter&rest is all set smooth sail as long as u finish the tasks in ur project(s).From that MONTH, if u hav 4-6Motnhs gap for ur Visa-Expiry,thn it is fine.
A)If going on same day Application:-Then go as above[HikeLetter/Revised OfferLetter+PaySlip(follow up with HMRC during next month of credit if this Hikedsalary was recorded, thn u wil get spot decision)BankStatement is obligatory tht u received for ur personalBankAccount.
B)If submitting Docs via postal, thn try get HMRC Yrly summary of Employers history to ur address which thy deliver to u.If u add this doc during course of time thn helps in faster process.
Pls consult well experienced solicitors well aware of Tax complexions w.r.t Immigration standards after ur own Homework done & NOT lazy/Incompetent/Impotent which u get in plenty.

Assuming your Visa Expiring around 15April2020,it is safer atleast u cross 6-8Months after credit of Revised Offer [than HikeLetter as Hike is NOT tht stronger proof, bit slippery unless u hav separate HR-Letter with split of All-Hike].Try hav this Revised Offer Letter dated before,march-19 ,i.e., 12/11/10-Months before Visa ExpiryDate.
You did not Quote ur MinThresholdSalary w. r t ur ImmigrationRules,Decide this with Immigration Strong Solicitor.Caliculate the earliest months u can cross the Min band-Salary.
6-7 Months from Hike/Revised date would be preferable, assuming u r planning to claim ur earning from the latest 6-7Months or 12Months.Ur solicitor needs also help u on this.
OR pls provide what ur MinThreshold&Requirements w.r.t Tier-2 Immigration Earnings rules for ur time.Someone can advise u here.NOT tht obselete group.
Provide UR HR-Manager&ReportingManager's contacts in coveringLetter.
Follow previous reply & all is set for u.Any further clarifications,u might need u r welcome to seek.

I’m not saying it’s deception, I’m just saying that all agencies that deals with UK internal issues are under HO, like HMRC, police etc, 5hey have records and you need to be careful with information. Just wait a bit and then apply

I am not sure who you are responding to, but user 'gptier1general' is NOT the original poster in this topic and is merely tagging on attempting to get attention and responses to their own ILR refusal. The user 'gbtier1general' is an ILR refused on Tier 1 General due to tax/income discrepancies and not Tier 2 General as the OP in this topic.

Hi Bizman,
With all due respect, one my own family members r under Tier-2 visa,so with that in place, I have asked.
Really thankful for your Timely&Kindly reply.
Not sure why CR001 is always projecting all my points in Negative(-ive) tone, w.r.t Deception point is NOT valid point,it was supposed to get corrected?
Let her/all explain what is the relevance in this user Scenario?
It has NO relevance&thus misleading to me&Others, pls correct her[CR001] Answer Ref:- CR001 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 01, 2019 2:56 pm "" ILR applicants been refused where 'deception' and 'non genuine' vacancy is found.""

Else ignore to answer/reply.
Thanks a lot All.
