Salary Code Increase

I am currently collating my ILR application. I work within 2317: Senior Professionals of Educational Establishments and earn £39,500 as of 2017 when my Tier 2 was renewed. At the time that was the salary minimum.

I am now looking to apply for ILR and see the salary minimum has increased to £41,100.

Does my salary need to be increased before I apply for ILR or can I apply on my current salary that is now effectively below the threshold for 2317 (but above the ILR minimum).

Thank you in advance for any information!

You need to meet the ILR requirement OR what your SOC states, whichever is HIGHER. So your ILR is likely to be refused for failing to meet your SOC salary requirement.

Thank you CR001 for such a quick response!

So if your SOC code minimum increases during your Tier 2, it is my (and my sponsors) responsibility to ensure my salary is increased in line with the minimum even if at the time of applying it was above?

Correct.
