Dear Friends, Kindly help me by guiding the following immigration situation!

I earned Highly Skilled Migrant Program UK status in 2007 and entered UK in June 2008. I had completed all the requirements for the extension of my HSMP status for three times successfully and paid all the taxis and kept compliance.

In May 2015 I have applied for my ILR but due to some clarification the Home Office asked me a few additional questions which I responded at that time but the application approval kept longer. During the process my Grand father passed away in June 2015 and due to sever family issues which needed my presence back home, I withdrawn my application and returned Pakistan voluntarily and got stuck in family issues till date.

Now I consider that was an emotional decision to withdraw my ILR application. I want to come UK and re apply for my ILR, I completed my 05 years time in UK and spent too much resources. Can I go back to UK and re apply for my ILR?

Kindly guide me.

Thank you so much.

I don't believe it is possible. ILR for the Tier 1 General visa holders, which replaced HSMP, was closed in Apri 2018 and is no longer possible.

For ILR, you need to meet all the requirements at the time of applying. You have missed that now by withdrawing your ILR in 2015.

See the lengthy topic below of someone who tried to return on date of visa expiry only to apply for ILR, after more than a two year absence.

Presumably, you no longer hold a visa for the UK, so you would have to start again from scratch and apply for a visa you qualify for that leads to ILR.

Thank you very much my friend for the reply.
One thing more, as I have withdrawn my application and returned back to my country voluntarily, can I visit UK, I mean if I ever apply for UK Visa (visit, study etc), will this withdrawal will affect my visa application in future?

Thanks once again.

No, it should not be an issue if you meet the requirements for any other visa you wish to apply for.
