Date you first entered the UK for ILR Tier2 route

Hi,

I would like to ask one doubt about the date you first entered the UK?
This is the below question in the application form:
When did you first enter the UK?(Required)
This is the date you entered the UK when the period of stay you are basing this application on started.

Now in my case I initially came to UK in 2005 as a student and stayed until 2011. Then I went back to india and came back again as a student Tier4 in 2013. I switched from Tier4 to Tier2 in Jan2015.
My application is for ILR and on the basis of 5 years on Tier2 migrant.
Please advise which date should I mention in the form?
Thanks

Regards
GG

All previous passports, travel documents or national identity cards that you have used to travel to or remain in the UK

What should be given to fulfill the above requirement for ILR Tier2 route?
I can understand all passports are required. Do we have to supply all the visa copies too? And if so all of them or for past five years only?

Thanks

No need to provide all the passports or copies of visas.

it does say to provide all passports though in other documents required list and travel documents used to travel and remain in UK.

Are you sure no need to supply both passport scan copies and visa biometric scan copies and stamps since in UK

Provide passports only in the last 5 years. Visa copies are not required as UKVI has all your visa details. :?

Hi,

I have leave of absences letter from my previous employers. They have mentioned in the letter the dates I was away from UK and it was paid annual leave. But it is not in any table format, doesn’t say which country I visited during annual leave and doesn’t say number of days on it. Is it ok to submit the way I have received the letters.

Table format or mentioning days after calculation from dates and place of visit is necessary??

Also my 5 year period started on 20/01/2015 therefore 28 days before I can apply which is from 23/12/2019 right?? Which means I can apply on 23/12/2019?

Please advise?

None of this is necessary in the employer letter. An employer will not issue such a letter

Hi Zimba,

I have 3 employers therefore I have got the leave of absence letters from previous 2 employers and of course it is required document as requested for evidence to support leave from UK. Your response is not clear on the above request?

Please advise accordingly to be sure what you mean. I have got the leave of absence letter from previous employer and from current employer letter for foreseeable future.

Please clarify.

There is no need for your employer letter to have all the details of your absences or countries visited. The letter has to confirm your absences from work where with their permission. An employer is not expected to know what you did when you took time off unless it was business related :?
