ILR -Notice period from ICT to t2G

Dear Members ,
Iam new to this group ,

Iam due for ILR next month

from 2011 to 2015 i was with ICT (i came to uK before april 2011) with X organisation and I got offer in Y Org with T2G Sponsor from Aug 1st 2015( BRP start date -issued T2G BRP card) but still i need to complete my notice period to X org and i had finished the notice period on sept 20th 2015 . The T2G sponsor( Y-org) agree to keep the cos date October10 -2015 and I joined them as well on same date.

i have doubts ,

From sept 21st -2015 till october 9 -2015(I was with valid T2G VISA ) i was in holiday 4 days in India and rest in UK -Will this be an issue for ILR-Should i need to write a letter on this

I joined Y compay on october 10 as per COS date .

Thanks ,
Paul

ILR is based on visa issue date. If you started later as per COS it does not matter

Thanks Zimba for your very quick response .
Iam more conufused on the leaves bfore joining the COS date from -sept 21st -2015 till october 9 -2015- May be 12 to 13 working days .

Will this count as unpaid leaves though i was not stated for the COS mention date (I have not joined Y org) i was with T2 VISA or i can just ignore it .

May be iam overthinking or confusing my self .

Once again thanks ,

Regards,
Paul

Hi All,

I had got letter from Naric in RED route -letter for statement of comparability and English language assessment in march -2020 -Due this priority service not yet open -it is getting delay for applying SET O ILR application -

My question here is - does Naric certificate has any validity ? I had read old forums -looks it does not have any .Just re-checking again.

Thank you in advance

Thanks & Regards,
Paul

You can apply online, submit and pay up till the last date of your visa.
2) Also i have a kid who is UK born who's visa is also-oct 10 -2020 -Will this wait will impact his M1N application ?
Nothing will happen. A UK born child has an entitlement to register as British and does not require a valid visa to do so.

Hi Zima/Cr001
I have a question -after submitting ILR (Set O -t2 G 5-year route) application online (STD service)-if company do redundancy-

1) What will happen on ILR decision?

2) Also what will be the situation on the rest of the period T2 G visa -Remaining period (8 -1 year ) -can we reapply with the different sponsor and do ILR again?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Paul

If you lose your job, ilr will fail. You are required to be employed by your sponsor to qualify for ilr and the foreseeable future, as your employer letter will state.

If your visa has expired when you lose your job and get ilr, you might have some issues. Remember you no longer have 28 days to make another application. It is now 14 days. If you choose to find another sponsor, you need a tier 2 visa with the new sponsor and at least 1 months payslip and bank statement before you can apply for ilr again, provided you don't have an extended period of no visa.

Thanks CR001 as usual .Iam praying it should not happen for me & all ,more unlikely.

Are we saying putting application for ILR and if we get redundancy -it will lead hard to reapply with 14 days .

My case is visa expiring sept, thought of putting into STD due to current situation-Should i wait & see till last min ( if something happen i can look for new sponsor -60 days) .

some how redundancy we will come to know in next 1 mnth.

it is bit crtical /emotional sutitaution .need some advide.

thanks,
paul

What exactly is the 'small issue'??

Your supporting documents must be dated on or before the online application date, not after.

Please do take note of the big red text in my signature. I do not respond to user who PM me for advice.

What date in June? If you got a letter in June, dated in June, how has it passed one month by 1st July?

Why not simply explain to your employer and ask them to date it 1st July.

I was waiting for priority service and lost hope and applied STD .
