Hiya all,

My partner arrived in the UK on a spouse visa 15 Jan 2016. His current BRP after FLR expires on 03-03-2021.

Is the earliest he can apply for ILR 04-02-2021?

Thanks in advance. :)

He will be eligible in Dec 2020, within 28 days of completing his 5 years counting from the date of his first entry to the UK.
Visa expiry is NOT relevant here

Oh I did not know visa expiry will not be relevant with ILR.

So the earliest we can apply or we can apply anytime after is 18/12/2020.

Thank u.

ILR Application Question

Hi my husband is of Pakistani nationality. We’re starting our ILR application form and stuck on this questions-

‘Do you currently hold, or have you ever held, any other nationality or citizenship?’

Is this if he holds a second nationality alongside his Pakistani one (Which he doesn’t) or do i just put the information for his Pakistani one?

So I should answer yes and give the details for his Pakistani details. Or just answer No cus I have given his Pakistani passport details already so they can tell he has a Pakistani nationality.

Documents supporting my other reasons to stay in the UK?

Hello. We are completing the form for ILR. Towards the end in the section where they tell you which documents need to be proved it asks:

‘Documents supporting my other reasons to stay in the UK’

Now i am not sure what to provide here. When it asked the question Do you have any other reasons to the stay in the UK? We jus mentioned that we have employment, family life here in the UK. Also it would be difficult for our babies to adjust in a different country.

Any help with this pls?

On that basis provide employment documents, birth certificates and or passports of the children, their school documents, if you have a house your mortgage documents etc.

The period you have been paid the current salary. So if you had a raise six months ago, the letter says that you have been paid X salary, since 6 months ago.

I made a new topic thread for both my questions. But due some default with the site it is merging all of them together. I am not doing it on purpose.

I can make a new topic thread and take a screen shot of it. But it seems when I receive a reply they merge together.

Keep all your questions in same thread instead of filling up everywhere with questions for same application.
