Passport validity for ILR application

Hi ,

I am planning to submit my ILR application, and these are the documents that I have now. Pls advise if it's enough o lacking some.

current passport ,current BRP; two passport sized photographs.
tenancy agreements.
Life in the UK test cert.
English language test certificate.
3 months original Bank statement showing salary; payslips 3 months; contract of employment; letter from
work contract
current employer confirming that you i am still needed to work in my role, paid annual leave letter.

Hi,

I have a question at it confuses me. I entered the UK with 3 yrs tier 2 visa and my employer extended it for another 3 years therefore got 6 years total . In July it will mark my 5th year in the UK and since I still have another year in my visa , my plan is to apply ILR maybe by September instead of July due to lockdown issues of centers being closed down (Life test,ielts test and offices ). Can I do that or it would count as over staying already? should I apply on the exact time that I turned 5 years in the UK? Thanks

It is NOT overstaying!

There is NO rule that you MUST apply for ILR at exactly 5 years. You can apply at anytime when you qualify and before your visa expires.

I have notice in the last two years that Paye calculate my tax wrongly sometimes but they tend to readjust it if they have noticed any mistakes. Will this be an issue if I apply for my ILR?

I read that i need to inform HO when we change passport, but I only learn about it now, been using my new one since 2018. will that be a problem? can i still inform them now before i apply my ILR? Thanks

My employer gave me letter stating my paid Annual leave but it is in a yearly manner like:
2017-2018 - 27 days taken
2019-2020 - 30 days taken
Etc....

Is that enough or it should be the exact dates of my arrival and departure in the UK? And do I need to include my sick leaves? Many thanks.

No, not if you don't have dependents applying for ilr with you.

I am due to apply in July2021 for ILR via Tier 2 5 yr route, however, my passport is expiring on December 2021, and all the embassies ang closed and by appointment and the latest one would be on December 2021. My question is can I apply for ILR even my passport’s validity would be less than 6 months? TY
