Hi Everyone,

Need some help with my wife's ILR application.

I'm currently a British citizen( acquired citizenship through Tier-2 General category last year Sep 2023). Prior to that i had ILR acquired in Jan 2022.
I got married in Feb 2018 and my wife arrived in UK during June 2018.
She has a dependent visa valid until 2025.
She has completed her 5 years as dependent visa in June 2023.

While apply for ILR application i had query on this section of the form.
"The person you are joining or accompanying"
What is xxxx(my name) country of nationality - ( UK or India on this form)

Which visa is Mr xxxx applying for or visa been granted? -- ( i've already got Citizneship so what do i need to mention Tier 2 visa here?)

Do you have one of these reference numbers for Yes ( do in need to give my tier -2 general visa reference number here?)

Enter their passport number --( will this be UK passport number now?)

Home Office reference number --( do we need this on application?)

biometric residence permit (BRP) number ( do i need to provide my old BRP numbers here?)

Documents

We have both of our names on water bill and council tax. will this be sufficient for cohabitations?
other documents we are attaching are
Wife's bank statements
utility bills
pay slips
passport
BRP

do we need to attach any other document apart from these.

Thank you very much for the help in advance.

The online form is not perfect. Her ILR application technically will be based on your previous status as a Tier 2 visa holder. The answers to those questions are not really important at all. No need to provide any home office reference either. You may enter the old sponsor/BRP/Passport number from the time you held visa as a worker migrant, these questions have no effect anyway.
