Employment Letter Requirements for ILS Set (O) form

Hi all,

I am due to apply for my ILR tomorrow. I have been reading all the useful advice about ILR. I have some query about employer letter if that's ok?

1. I understand that previous employer letters are not needed. However, I managed to request before I have seen the posts. One of my previous employer is afamily business therefore unable to provide complete absence records, but manage to prove that the leave i have taken when I was away from the UK is authorised. Is it still ok to submit?

2. My current employer has provided an absence record for the past two years and confirmed that I am still required for my job. However, the record does not include Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) days that I have taken while away from the UK. My total time in the UK meets the ILR criteria, but I want to ensure this omission will not affect my application.

Thanks

1. You do NOT need such a letter at all. Ignore it
2. Please refrain from assuming and inventing your own requirements. Your employer is NOT required to provide the details of absences or time off. You need to understand and follow the rules and satisfy the requirements as they are.

Is it still ok to submit? No, if it's not needed, don't provide it.

Your absences were authorised and validated in the employer letter, employer indicated you are needed for foreseeable future = requirements met.

Thanks
