Hello All,
I have a question hope can get advises from you all. I have made a mistake that submitted the ILR application before 28 days and have not book biometric appointment yet, I am planning to book appointment on after reached 28 days. Will my application be rejected ? is there any way I can withdraw the application.
Summary:
20/09/2024 is correct date of 5 years - 28 days
31/08/2024 I submitted the application
Planning to book biometric on 20/09/2024
Will above work ?
Thank you for your support

There is no such a thing as 28-day rule
The date of application is not critical, what matters is that on the date of decision you are eligible !
I covered this here:
Applicants can benefit from the date of the ILR decision

Hi Zimba,
After I read the reference link above and also I found the information in another post
viewtopic.php?t=340015#p2129957, can I please just confirm what I understand is correct.
- Case worker still count applicant continuous period until the date of decision
With the timeline:
- 21/08/2019: first visa entry clearance
- 15/10/2019: extended visa entry clearance
- 16/10/2019: first arrival to the UK
- 31/08/2024: submit ILR application online (date of application)
For example I book bimometric on 20/09/2024 with priority service (even application online dated 31/08/2024). Case worker will pick up and use
decision date on 20/09/2024 counting backward to 15/10/2019 will be 4 years 11 months 5 days.
So bimometric on or after 20/09/2024 should be no issue as this is an earliest date eligible (4 years 11 months 5 days) counting from date of decision for ILR ?
Thank you very much for all of your supports!

Hi Zimba, I am sorry for another question that I just had in my mind.
I submitted application online 31/08/2024, and I just booked the biometric appoinment on 26/09/2024, will it be any problem my employer provides letters dated after 31/08/2024 and before 26/09/2024 ?

The letter should be dated before the application date. UKVI
may accept a letter dated later
