ILR proof of cohabitation

Hi,

I appreciate any response on my query. Can anyone give me advice please?

I am on a spouse visa extension and due to apply for ILR soon. Here's my timeline:

Arrived in UK: 11th December 2019
Spouse visa extension granted: 17 July 2022
Valid until: February 2025

Now I know I can apply 28 days before I have spent 60 months here so November 2024. Proof of cohabitation should be provided for the last 2.5 years. If this is the case, when shall I start the date of the documents if I will submit my application on November 2024?

Should it from May 2022 (2.5 years back from November 2024) or July 2022 (from the month my leave was extended)? I'm confused because if I start on July 2022, and submit my ILR application in November 2024, then that will only be 2.4 years worth of documents?

You only need 2 years cohabitation evidence.

Hi there,

Thank you so much for responding.

I believe the 2 years is for FLR(M) and not the ILR?

Also if it helps, this is what's written in the document checklist in my application form:

6 letters and/or other documents addressed to you and your partner at the same address to show that you have been living together during the past 2.5 years

Shall I start from July 2022 when my leave was granted? or go another 2 months back so 2.5 years from November 2024?

NO specific requirements/documents are mentioned under the rules for cohabitation evidence. The document list shows some examples only.
