Do you mean 5 day priority service or 24 hour super priority service??

Yes, if available when you get to the payment page.

I applied for the priority 5 day service a few days ago, but I did notice that a day or two before the application, I saw a notification on the visa application page that my selected service is no longer available, and I must choose a different service.

But it was back when I came back after a day or two to submit the application.

It's not always possible to see the priority options but most of my case, I could have see those options (Standard - Priority - Super Priority) in the most of time.

I'm on the process of applying for my dependants' ILR through Set (O) form.

Biometrics appointment delay/change

Appreciate help with this one:
I am working through a legal advisor for my ILR , we did the application online yesterday 10.november and i selected super priority as i need to leave the UK For an urgent matter November 20th. After applying and paying I was told the earlierst appointment is November 25! I did not have access to the booking portal but want to know if there is a way:
1: to change the biomertric appointment even it it means any center in the UK not only Manchester
2: If this is not possibile, is there a way to cancel my application and apply again after my trip (my current visa is valid till Feb 2025?
3: is there a wait list option where i can just go and try and "camp' at the biomteric center to try to get an appointment is someone cancels? or this very systematic

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Most are experiencing a bit of a wait for appointments. That aside, Super Priority is also not a guaranteed service. You rushed to submit an application when you still had enough visa validity to apply after you returned.

You can withdraw your application yes.

No, there is no such option.

Also, super priority has NOTHING to do with the appointment booking process. It actually means we try to make a decision on your visa application within 24 hours AFETR you submit your biometrics.

Note that we cannot offer any help regarding TLScontact or how to book a biometrics appointment with them. TLScontact is a third-party appointment service provider that was recently appointed by the UKVI to handle biometrics collection. So their services and capacity may be limited for now. You are advised to be cautious and not plan any immediate travels.

Thank you for your feedback. Yes you are right, i rushed to pay for super-priority without waiting for the biometric appointment as i thought that biometric (since managed by 3rd party) should not have long waiting

You can withdraw your application yes.
If i withdraw the application , do i get a refund for the super priority?

BRP EXPIRY-- ON OR BEFORE

If the visa extension for skilled worker ends on November 30th (the date printed on the BRP), does that mean the person can apply on 30th also, or it has to be latest by end of day 29th.

The 30th would be the last date you can apply.

Yes, you can ask for a refund on the super priority service if you withdraw the application before providing biometrics. See: https://www.gov.uk/faster-decision-visa ... g-a-refund

a related issue:

can Mobile app be used to idenfify person instead of the biometric appointment.
can my wife be able to use it as she is a dependent instead of trying to book the biometric appoinment?

Cover letter template/ideas for ILR partner

Greetings All,
I know it is not a must, but this is one of the things i noticed legal advisors are good at: Can anyone share a cover letter for partner Set O to upload with the documents prior to appointment?
I believe it should make reference to the ILR settled status of main applicant and some confirmation that leave was not more than 180days /year etc....
any help is greatly appreciated.

You do NOT need such a cover letter

ILR for child--absence count

My solicitor requested all absence days for my child during the past 5 years. I was under the impression that this is only required for main applicants for ILR. He said that this is just in case.
Any experience on this ?
Thanks in advance

Your solicitor does not know what he is doing.
