ILR as dependant if husband temporarily leaves the UK

Hi, my husband recently got ILR through Global Talent 3-year route, but our child and I can apply for ILR as dependants only in 2 years.

He has also been promoted recently and offered transfer to another country, and it's a good opportunity to earn extra £ for a house deposit, but our son should start secondary school this September and I don't want to uproot him at this stage.

If our family temporarily splits between UK and another country, spending holidays together, but the husband will be transferred back to the UK in time for our ILR applications, what are the chances it will be rejected on the basis we have not been living in the UK together?

If you maintain residence here and keep cohabitation documents with some bills under both of you names, I think you should be ok

All you need to know about cohabitation evidence
