ILR Application questions

hi everyone
I have a SWV and have wife/children w/ me as dependents. trying to get info for upcoming ILR application. Hope can get some wisdom from you. Thanks!

1. In the ILR application for myself and for my wife - in the application forms are there any questions related to foreign properties or foreign income received in home country? (not about the income received from the UK employeer but additional income)

2. About the continue UK residence - I have an upcoming paternity leave and may be in home country a few months. do we really need to have a valid tenancy contract OR can we leave our stuff in a friends house while we are away from the UK? would they care? do we need to detail all our houses during the 5 years?

3. Do all absences from the UK need to be work leave? e.g. last year I had to go to home country for less than 2 weeks to get a treatment but I was still working. so employeer would not have this registered as leave. I did ask my boss about this. -- I think a letter from my employeer stating all UK absences and that they were fine with them is enough?

4. Children were born in UK. I believe they can apply for Naturalization directly and not need to go to ILR first? if so, trying to understand how that will work. I think myself/wife can apply 28 days before SWV for 5 years. Children can apply for naturalisation after I/wife ILR application is submitted or only after the ILR is approved for I/wife? what would happen with them if by any odd reason ILR is refused? or what would happen if they need to wait until ILR is approved as they would not have a valid visa during that time?

1. I do not think so. Note that the application forms are now online and may change regularly

2. No.
Read: All you need to know about cohabitation evidence

3. Yes it will be enough.
Read: All you need to know about the sponsor letter for Skilled Worker route

4. Children do NOT naturalise, they get registered using form MN1. UK born children do not even need to have a valid visa or ILR in the UK and can be registered after one parent is granted ILR.
