Hi,

I was just scrolling for hours now to find similar case of mine. My husband was the principal applicant for work permit under 5yr category and we are going to apply this month. The problem is we are still waiting for the passport of my newly born baby but we cannot wait for it just in case the law will change. Is it possible not to include my new baby's passport?

Possible.

However, baby's application for leave to remain is not required.

Hi Vinny

Thanks for your reply. If its possible then maybe we can go ahead with the application this month. But what i am concerned with is my newly born baby doesnt have proof of her status in her passport cos we didnt include it in the application. Do they stamped 'Indefinite Leave to Remain' in each of our passports? We are going for a holiday outside uk this december after being granted ILR hopefully. What do we need as proof to the immigration when we return here that my baby is included as ILR dependent?

Yes. I believe that they should grant baby's ILR leave on a separate piece of paper when baby has no passport.
