I will try to keep this topic as simple as possible ,I applied for a EU settlement scheme but it was refused but I was eligible to apply for ADMINISTRATION REVIEW so I applied for it.

But my COA was expired on 14/10/2020 so my question is can I still able to work as my AR is in process ?

Hello

What is your immigration history and do you hold anything else besides that failed EU Settlement Scheme?

Are you in the UK or did you apply from abroad?

Are you married or unmarried?

What visa do you hold or have held for the UK?

It is not clearly form you limited brief posts what your circumstances are.

Hello
Sorry I’m new to this page..I’m still in Uk and appplied inside the Uk..I’m unmarried ...I came here as a student in 2009 then in 2013 I got for residence documentation for 5 years which expired in April 2018...
I applied for PR in 2018 but it was refused in 2019 bcoz of insufficient evidence so I applied to EU settlement scheme online ... so they refused it again and now I applied for ADMINISTRATION REVIEW..so till 14/10/2020 I was eligible to work in Uk and my only question is as my COA is expired .. am I still eligible to work while my AR is in process ..

What exactly was insufficient about your evidence?

My partner moved to different place in Uk for six months due new job in end of 2017 and I was not able to move with her bcoz I won’t be able to get my job as my visa was expiring in April 2018... so after 6 months she came by getting transferred and since then we staying together again ..as we didn’t had any statements together for those six months ..then refused it

Hello

With an expired CoA and a refused application pending, you don't have any leave at the moment and no right to work. If you are working, that's bad. Even if your employer doesn't know about it, this will disqualify you from getting the British citizenship for 10 years regardless of your future immigration path.

So you applied as a unmarried partner but you didn't live together. While this is frowned upon for married couples, I don't see how it can work for unmarried couples.

During that time where you were not together, did you have any joint financial and personal commitment together? Such as:

- Both names on bills
- Joint bank accounts
- Joint credits
- Kids together... etc.

If not, I don't see how the Admin Review could be successful and reverse the initial refusal. If you can share the exact wording of the refusal, that could be helpful.

Did you provide good reasons for being apart and evidence of subsisting relationship, etc?

Okay I think you miss understood me...my partner was away for 6 months in 2017 but after that she came back, since then we staying together again and like I mentioned earlier that I’m not working since my COA was expired ..that’s why i was querying here if I was allowed to work or not

Yes I did .. even though she was away for few months only we showed the evidence that’ we were seeing each other like flight tickets and all.. the only mistake I have done was I didn’t moved with here at that time bcoz things that I won’t get a job as my visa was expiring

And what's about now? How do you live now?

Do you have these together at the moment?

- Both names on bills
- Joint bank accounts
- Joint credits
- Kids together... etc.
