I have not received any confirmation either. Just requested my documents to be sent back. I am expecting the whole process to take 3 months at the very least, though.

I think 3 months for European but for non European will take much longer.

DCPRs need to be issued 'as soon as possible' after application, which could obviously mean anything. After 6 months you can follow up and get your MP involved.
Someone I know recently waited 5 and a half months for a DCPR; straight forward case; 5 years working full-time for the same company...this used to take approx. 3-5 weeks a few years back. But I do feel for the poor caseworkers who are probably completely overworked now with so many applications coming in before the referendum and also now that a DCPR is a requirement for citizenship...

[quote="LilyLalilu"]DCPRs need to be issued 'as soon as possible' I think its a matter of luck. Some cases take up to 6 months others less. We have families to support and they let us without anything to show to our employers after our residence expired.

it might be cos of the referendum and I guess so many Europeans are applying as well just to be on the safe side.it is better you give them a call and find out why
