I am a British citizen and I would like my cousin from India to come and join me and my family in the UK.

Is the EEA Extended Family Permit the right permit to apply for?

Because a British citizen is unable to sponsor either a family member or an extended family member under the EEA Regulations.

Be aware of changes coming in on 25 Nov that exclude EFMs (including cousins) from the mix:

Well the regulation has never included extended family member in regulation 9. However the court has ruled that they are included.

So the 25-11-16 changes nothing.
