EEA family permit

don't know if anyone can help, am irish and just got married a couple of months back, my husband who is an non eu nation applied for a eea family permit last September from lagos, 30days passed and we didnt hear anything from them, only for them to contact me 2weeks ago requesting i attend an interview which i did last Wednesday. today makes it a week i attended the interview and we are yet to hear anything back from the visa section. I have a good job and provided all the documentations needed dont know if its normal from them to drag an application this long.
