Visa Refused

Hi guys,

I was so excited this morning when I finally received my passport back, I waited almost for 4 months just for an EEA Family Permit. When I opened the pack I could see just the passport and nothing else, I checked the passport for like 20 minutes but nothing has changed from when I submitted it to them.. no visa sign.
As you can suppose I am really upset for what happened, during this 4 months I got no email or call from them, I was the one that contacted them by phone call (15€) and email (6,5€) and after that I received no letters containing reasons for the refusal.

Is this even normal? They pretty much destroyed my future..

Give more information please: where did you apply? Which documents did you attach? If it's refused there should be a letter included in the envelope.

I applied it in Rome in 4th May and I attached everything it was required such as payslips, bank documents, family status and so on. And as i said i received just my passport and nothing else.

It doesn't look like refused, it's like they returned the passport but not all the rest. My wife applied in Rome as well last February, but we went to collect the envelope there. You should have a reference number, did you check online what is the status?

UK Gov website shows me that a decision has been made in 16 August and TLSconact shows me that the application process is fully completed. Furthermore I did not have to go to Rome to collect the passport as I purchased the return service. I do not know what to do now... so upset.

You should receive all the documents in the same envelope as the passport, and if the Permit is refused it should be a letter that explains the reasons.

Do you advice me to email them again and spending 6,5€?

Why did you apply in Italy? Have you applied as FM or EFM?

You should contact them, because what you are saying about the envelope and the passport is not normal. But who are you going to the UK with?

I'm struggling to follow this...

Who's in the UK and who is exercising a treaty right in this scenario?

My father has Italian nationality anf if I had received the permit I would have gone to the UK with him.

Anyway I wil try to send them an email and let's see if they could give me any reasons.

But in your previous threads you say you have a spouse and a 20 year old son? Are you posting under someone else's account because if you are not only is it very frustrating when you only give half a story, it's against the board T's & C's I believe.

Sorry for the confusion but the first threads were submitted by my father and my mother's applications is still in processing.
