i am a chinese girl, and i am try to apply the unmarried visa which me and my partner have been together for more than 2 years.

my partner is from Italy, but the home office acquired that he must have been living in Uk for more than 5 years which he only lived here for 3 years.


in this situation what we can do?

If you have documented proof that you have been living together for at least two years, then I think that you are in a durable relationship with an EEA national. If your partner is a qualified person and you are legally in the UK, then you may apply for a Residence card (1.3).
