Hi,

My wife received her British nationality through her father. She received her British passport last month.

We are living in Bahrain and would like to settle in the UK. I'm Pakistani national working in Bahrain.

How do we proceed?

To get a spousal visa, she must be resident / settled in the UK?

What about the EEA family permit?

Strictly speaking, a British citizen who has been resident abroad but who returns to the United Kingdom to live is not 'admitted for settlement'. However, if he / she expresses the intention of returning to the United Kingdom to reside, the ECO can regard him/her as present and settled in the UK.
