Time away from home

Post by StueyT » Fri Feb 07, 2014 1:13 pm

Hi all,

I'm trying to find guidance on spending time away from home. I hear people say up to 6 months should be ok with a legit reason, but can't find any official UKBA documentation on this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Ta

For info, my gf (applicant) has had to go to London recently (Mid-dec-start of Feb) for training for her new job. As a result, her bank statements show alot of spending in London for the last couple of months...

The time away from home you are referring to is absence outside of the UK. If you have the evidence of cohabitation per your other post, she will be fine. She can include a letter from her employer to explain.
