Visa document for ILR dependent

Can you please confirm how the visa will be stamped for my wife who has applied as spouse dependent (I am currently based in UK in ILR)

1. Visa will be stamped in the passport, or
2. BRP card provided similar to ILR visas in UK

If she applied abroad, it will be a vignette in her passport stating her visa and visa duration dates, etc.

If she applied in the UK, it will be a BRP.
