FLR M Visa Extension

Post by romi.550 » Tue Feb 21, 2017 4:45 pm

Hi guys my Visa is about to run out in May this year and wants to send it for extension, I would like to take it to window and apply in person I know it's £100.00 more than sending by post but it will be a peace of mind to save time as I need to apply for Australia visit visa in July.

My question is as my extension is coming up soon what documents do I need to take with me for a FLR M visa extension ?? any help and advice will be greatfull.

No, to apply in person it is £500 on top of the visa fee then there is also the immigration health surcharge you also have to pay which is £500.

Suggest read the FLR(M) form, page 65/66.

Read the form as suggested above. Plus 6 months payslips and 6 months bank statements

Are you sure you qualify for the parent route? Are you living separately from your child's mother?

In this thread from 2015 you were granted Discretionary Leave. :?:

Yes I thought that is a same thing ... I am really sorry for my ignorance, I had been certainly given Discretionary leave to remain which is coming to end in May and I need to apply for extension.

Just checked my Home Office letter when it came with Biometrics it says " GRANT OF LEAVE TO REMAIN TEN YEAR PARTNER ROUTE " under paragraph Apendix FM. You may be eligible to apply for settlement after completing 10 years under this route.

Thanks

In which case you need to submit a FLR(FP) Partner route application. NOT parent route.

Have you clicked on the link I posted for you?

I don't have the time to trawl through the application form for you. I suggest you read the form thoroughly, especially Section 15 - DOCUMENTS.
