Immigration for old parents dependents

Hi, if there is any way to invite and stay with old parents (dependents) in homeland by a uk citizen on a longer term (apart from. Visit visa)

The most difficult visa to get and if you try and get refused it shuts the door to future visit visas too. The rules were toughened in July 2012.
