No SMS about receipt of Settlement Spouse Visa documents in Sheffield

Hi,

I am sponsoring my husband for his settlement spouse visa and we applied for VFS Hyderabad on 24th Jan 2019. Before the appointment, we paid online in VFS website for Super Priority Visa which should give decision in 24 hours.
But on appointment day, VFS Hyderabad staff mentioned that this Super Priority Visa service is not available from Hyderabad and it is available in Chennai. They suggested us to request for refund for the Super priority visa and to pay for Priority Visa which will take 30 working day for decision to come.
We wanted to get the decision asap, and hence, I immediately changed my husband's appointment to 28th Jan in Chennai for Super Priority Visa online. But after sometime, VFS staff told us that the Super Priority Visa is there in Chennai, but not for Settlement applications. So, my husband paid the fee of around Rs.54,000 for Priority Visa directly in VFS hyderabad on the same day 24th Jan and submitted his application. Though the online appointment is changed to 28th Jan in Chennai, VFS Hyderabad staff accepted my husband's application.
For posting the documents to Sheffield, we were told that we can do it ourselves or we can hand the documents over to VFS staff and they will courier with a charge of around Rs.13,000. We opted to be couriered through VFS and we also paid for SMS service to know the applications updates via SMS. Our application was being shown as updatable until 28th Jan online in Visa4UK website which we are concerned about as we are not sure if our application got messed up because of rescheduling the appointment but still submitting the application earlier on 24th Jan.
Now, its already 11 days from the time we applied in VFS Hyderabld, but we dont have any email/SMS confirmation about whether our documents are posted to Sheffield and whether it is received in Sheffield or not. Usually, people on immigration boards are mentioning that they have the confirmation of documents receipt in Sheffield within 2-3 days. We are not sure where they got such update from. I tried calling VFS Global UK phone number but they just mentioned that the application is still mentioned as "Decision yet to be made" but they can't confirm if application is received in Sheffield or not.

1. Can anyone please let me know how you got the confirmation of receipt of documents in Sheffield?
2. How to contact VFS/UKBA/Any others to find out the exact status of our application?
3. How long it takes for getting the refund of our Super Priority Visa?

You should have taken the responsibility of sending the documents to Sheffield so that you can track it. Did the centre not give you a courier tracking number??

Also, hopefully you submitted the original divorce decree absolute documents to prove your first marriage was dissolved before you remarried.
