How to apply for a spouse and a child at the same time online?

Dear All

While making the online application for my spouse and a child we were asked to make a partner and a child applications separately.Going through the spouse application first via Gov.uk website I don't see any link to the child application at all.
Has anyone recently applied could advise me with the steps and at which stage the two applications will be linked together? Does that means I will need to upload all evidences again in the child application?

Also while uploading online the required documents I saw the categories ( Financial evidence, employment evidence) where do we should load the employer letter, payslips and bank statements? or load them twice in each category?

this link pops up both when you apply as a partner and as a child applying at the same time as parent.

when you finally go to the IHS page, the page by default takes it that you don't have a dependent, because you don't have one on your application form.

On the Childs IHS page, should he add the details of parent he's joining in UK or the parent he's applying with or no details should be added.

I am stuck in my application in this stage, I dont want to be rejected because the details were entered incorrectly.

Please help.

Sorry for late reply I have just saw your message
We ended up applying in two different applications one for partner and new one for a child, both have different documents requirements we didn't see at any stage that the two apparitions are linked together even at the TLScontact center two different appointments
How was yours went?
