Visit from UK- passport question

Post by samarasammy » Wed Oct 09, 2019 5:43 pm

My fiancé and I are gathering the documents to apply for a spouse visa, while I wait to take the test for Ielts Life skills B1. However, he said he may visit me and my family in Brazil during Christmas, but we had a doubt.

To prove that he is a British citizen, he will have to submit his passport, or just a copy of his passport will do? Is it okay for him to come to Brazi?
Another doubt we have is: is it possible for him to submit his documents in Sheffield?

Thanks in advance

He is free to travel. He does NOT have to submit his original passport. A copy is fine.

You need to follow the process when you apply online for the supporting documents.

Documents are mostly no longer posted to Sheffield.
